Book the UHSB for Your Next Event!
The University Heights Symphonic Band (UHSB) is frequently invited to perform on concert series and for special events throughout the Cleveland area. In addition to our seasonal concerts at John Carroll University, we have performed in concert halls, schools, churches, amphitheaters, senior centers and local parks. As a result, we understand how to please many different types of audiences. Our extensive repertoire includes both popular favorites and “serious” wind music. Here is just a sample of the places we’ve performed:
Waetjen Auditorium, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio
The Grove Amphitheater, Mayfield Village, Ohio
James A. Garfield National Historic Site, Mentor, Ohio
Mentor Amphitheatre, Mentor, Ohio
Lillian & Betty Ratner Montessori School, Pepper Pike, Ohio
Brecksville Human Services Center, Brecksville, Ohio
Generally, the band schedules concerts for every Thursday evening during the June through July summer season, plus several holiday concerts in December. In mid-summer, these concerts are usually outdoor concerts, but the band also schedules indoor concerts if the site is large enough to accommodate the band and an audience.
The band normally does not charge for concerts but relies on donations from our sponsors to help support the band. If you are interested in sponsoring a concert, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The UHSB is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, so donations to the band are tax deductible. For more information, visit our Donations page.
